Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated: May 12, 2026 · Version 1.0
This is a convenience translation. The legally binding document is the Portuguese (PT-br) version, governed by Brazilian law and the courts of Itajaí/SC. In case of any divergence, the Portuguese text prevails.
Short read: you create a free account, monitor your sites, choose a plan if you need more. We don’t sell your data, we host in Brazil, we comply with the LGPD. Cancel anytime, no penalty. The items below formalize this to provide a contractual basis.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Sentinela (the "Service"), you declare that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who we are
Sentinela is operated by M2HP TECNOLOGIA LTDA, registered under CNPJ 48.498.639/0001-75, headquartered at Av. Osvaldo Reis, nº 3385, Sala 2004, Ed. Riviera Concept, Praia Brava, Itajaí/SC, Brazil.
Contact: sentinela@m2hp.com.br.
3. What the Service does
Sentinela offers, according to the contracted plan:
- External uptime monitoring (HTTP, keyword, ping, TCP port, heartbeat, DNS)
- External security audit (ASM) with 48 probes across 6 layers
- Public status pages, notifications across various channels, PDF reports
Sentinela is not a pentest. It is non-invasive observation of your domain’s external surface. We don’t exploit vulnerabilities, don’t try to bypass authentication, don’t brute-force.
4. Account and responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password secret and enabling 2FA when possible
- Formally authorizing the audit of each domain (we are a good-faith external observer)
- Ensuring you have permission to monitor/audit the registered targets
- Keeping your contact data up to date
If you use Sentinela on behalf of a company, you declare you are authorized to do so.
5. Plans, pricing and payment
We offer Free, Pro, Business, Agency and Enterprise plans — described at /pricing. Prices in Brazilian reais (BRL), with a Brazilian invoice. Paid plans may be charged via card, bank slip or Pix, depending on the plan.
We reserve the right to adjust prices with 30 days’ prior notice. Changes never apply retroactively to already-paid cycles.
6. Cancellation and retention
You can cancel at any time, no penalty. Upon cancellation:
- Access continues until the end of the already-paid cycle
- After that, the account enters read-only mode for 30 days for you to export data
- After 30 days, data is permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy
7. Acceptable use
It is prohibited to use Sentinela to:
- Monitor or audit systems without the owner’s authorization
- Attack, overload or degrade third-party services
- Illegal activities under Brazilian law
- Violate third-party intellectual property rights
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund and, when applicable, notification of the authorities.
8. Intellectual property
Sentinela’s code, design, brand and content are the property of m2hp Tecnologia. You retain full ownership of your data (configurations, monitoring results, security findings, generated reports).
9. Service availability
We make reasonable effort to keep the Service up. We do not offer a contractual SLA on the Free, Pro, Business and Agency plans — only an explicit SLA on the Enterprise plan under contract. You can follow our real uptime on our own status page.
The Service may have scheduled maintenance (announced) and unscheduled outages (rare). We are not liable for damages arising from unavailability on the public plans.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Brazilian law, Sentinela is provided "as is". We are not liable for:
- Security or business decisions made based on our reports
- False positives or false negatives unavoidable in any automated scanner
- Unavailability of third-party notification channels (Telegram, Slack, PagerDuty, etc.)
- Lost profits or indirect damages
Our total liability, in any case, is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. Relevant changes will be communicated by email 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after the change implies agreement with the new version.
12. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the district of Itajaí, State of Santa Catarina, are elected to settle any matters arising from them, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged.
